The booking date has now been extended to allow for the express printing time. The booking deadline and date for images to be emailed to me is now the 11th of March. Add a unique touch to your cherished memories with this workshop. The workshop price includes the Photo Roll Embroidery Kit that will be printed with your photographs. All materials are included, but you are welcome to bring any special threads. This workshop includes cotton linen printed with your photographs to a maximum overall size of 52x50cm. An ideal configuration is to have 4 images printed at approximately 24cm, but any size and shape of photo will work. You may not get the opportunity to work on all of your photos in the session, but we will plan together, and you will work on at least one photo using embroidery. I will guide you through the process and give advice on stitch styles and placement of stitches. In this session you can add flowers and motifs as decoration and embellishment, but will not be stitching faces, as this would require more time. The photo can be of any subject, and can be in colour or black and white. I will crop your photo if requested, and can change to black & white or sepia tones. Photo Roll Kit Contents: Printed photographs on cotton linen, 52 x 50cm Linen fabric for backing the project, 1m x half metre. Vintage industrial wooden bobbin. Cotton thread set Watercolour set + brush Embroidery Needles IMPORTANT: Scan photos at the highest resolution possible and save as a jpeg before emailing to me. Most scanners and printers have an option to scan at a higher resolution. Please ask me if you are not sure. If you are sending the photos from your phone, save and send them at the highest resolution and the largest size possible. If the file is large, use a free transfer service like We Transfer. Due to the bespoke nature of this workshop, once the printing has been ordered, it isn't possible to cancel or refund, but in the event of cancellation you will receive the printed fabric. Please note that my studio is on the third floor of an old mill, and there is no lift. You could commission me to stitch your photograph, there is a product listing for this option.
