What a lovely box of embroidery tools!  These are must have, beautiful tools from the very cool tailors merchant, Merchant & Mills.
 
I just had to put tpgether this box of all my faves from Merchant & Mills.  Not only are they beautiful to look at, but they are super useful, professional tools.
 
Contained in the sturdy embossed black gift box, which is great for keeping everything together, the contents of the box are:
 
Fine Work Gold Scissors, which are essential for getting into tight spots to snip threads. Full size 9cm / 3.5", blade size 3cm / 1"
Entomology Pins - For paper butterflies and fine fabrics, these are irresistible. 38mm x 0.45mm. Approx 100 pins per box.
Glass Headed Pins, 100 (approx) glass headed pins in a multitude of colours to suit your every mood.Super sharp and easy to find in fabric! 30mm x 0.60mm
Black Bulb Pins, The bulb pin lets a tag hang tidily from a safety pin and is lovely to make small brooch hangings from. 21mm long and like safety pins but with a wide bowl at the bottom for tags etc. Approximately 100 per box.
Pin Magnet.  Keep safe or find escaped pins with this little round and powerful magnet.
Straws (needles).  Traditionally used in hat making, hence they are known as milliner needles. 10 needles.They are extra long with round eyes and ideal for speedy tacking, basting and pleating. A mixture of sizes in a turned wooden case. Perfect for transporting.
White Chalk Pencil - Only this will do when marking black fabric for cutting!
