This super sized kit contains a fabric panel ready printed with my drawing of the ever popular Sunflower design. All materials and instructions are included as to how to make the project bag or a book cushion.
 
It has eight balls of Pearl #8 Cotton with a whopping 80 metres on each ball in vintage shades from the brand of Luca-S, as well as a skein of pure British wool.  There will be plenty of the threads left over for further projects when you have completed this one.
 
It also comes with a whopping 1 metre by 0.5 metre heavy pure linen  panel, which is of a sturdy weight making it perfect for making the cushion or project bag.
 
The book cushion has a handy pocket at the front, as well as a pocket at the bag to stash snacks and glasses. The front pocket could house a book, and the inner pocket is perfect for storing threads and scissors. It can also be a regular cushion if preferred, by omitting the back pocket and stitching the embroidered panel on all four sides.
 
The project bag is simply closed together with the cotton webbing and wooden buttons at the side panels, the front, and the inner pocket flap too. There is no need to add a zip, but you could if you wish. The whole of the side panel opens up, so it is possible to store large items or projects in there, it is particularly good for storing fabric, knitting, or crochet. 
 
First the printed panel is embroidered before fixing it to the bag or cushion, or you could make it into numerous other items. Full instructions are provided and all materials are provided, all that is needed are scissors to snip the thread.

This kit is not suitable for children as it contains a sharp embroidery needle and small parts.
 
The fabric and threads are washable on a cool hand wash.  If youa re concerned about shrinkage, pre-wash the fabrics but stitch around the outer edge before washing.  I recommend dry cleaning rather than washing for the finished embroidery.
